Living in an era when technology advances fast, we are more aware of obtaining multifarious information by newspapers, magazines and television media. Besides, when the Internet has a great influence on our life, though people are willing or not, they all persist in contacting the various world. Because of obtaining information is quite numerous and convenient, it leads people to purchase things to get satisfied and happiness.

From the point of view of fetishism and the situation people lost them, I use my experiences in my art practice to reflect the trend that people excessively indulged in purchasing. I try to express and analyze the related theories to respond to my art works from a female standpoint. Therefore, I create two set of works:”desire” and “lost”, to discuss about the growth and decline of desire. I create a space inside of my work with the hollowness, a characteristic of clay; I tend to treat it as vessels to load desire. Using brightly colors to increase a sense of longing. The atmosphere makes a big contrast to the clay’s rough surface, and shows that it is just like the world we live, which full of beauty and defective. By having this work, I also want to express the condition that people struggle with desire in their inner heart. And, when they decide to pursue the enjoyment of purchasing, they must to find the balance, and keep rational in an appropriate way to find themselves value.
