This research aims to analyze two Sheng works："Wang Zhao-jun" and " Princess Wencheng "." Wang Zhao-jun " was created in 1979 by Cao Jian-guo and Zhang Fu-quan, with the theme of " Wang Zhao-jun’s "story. The "Princess Wencheng" is based on the historical allusion, was created in 1981 by Gao Yang, Zhang Shi-gong and Tang Fu. At the almost same time, how the composers use the Sheng to perform and present the similar subjects, and what’s the differences and similarities between of them? Both of them triggered the author's research motivation.

First, the author will sort out the life background of the composer, the theme of the music composition and the structure of the music by the data collection and music analysis. Then, through the interview with the composer, the composer’s performance and creative background, the style and concept of creation, the motive, as well as connotation of the composition of music will be further understood. In the interpretation of music combined with all above the research results and the author's point of view to propose the appropriate interpretation of music. Finally, I hope that this research will do a little bit contributions for the Sheng music and related academic research.
