This creative research ""Sound Area"-Exploring of Immersive Audiovisual Installations" uses my own learning experience as a piano as a background to transform daily life into media for creation. The literature discussion of the research framework, sorting out the development context of sound art, and analyzing the works of immersive, audio-visual installations; through field research, on-site observation of the soundscape in the living environment, collection and reproduction of sound, and finally completed the research results with creative practice. The creative method is based on the concept of Pierre Schaeffer's "concrete music", using real sound as the material, combined with audiovisual installations of visual symbols, to reproduce the soundscape field for immersive experience. In the concept of creation, semiotics is used to explore the meaning of sound, and it extends to Edmund Husserl's "phenomenology" discussion.
The works created in this research have participated in many public exhibitions and have been recognized, including: "2019 Keelung Art Exhibition" new media and art photography excellent works, "2020 New Taipei City Art Exhibition" technology art category third place, "2020 Future Art Award" Asian Rising Star Award” was shortlisted and won the “2019 Shi-An Aesthetics Award” as a sponsor of plastic arts creation. However, there are also some difficulties in creation. For example, the installation of the work is limited by the hardware. Therefore, in the direction of future creation, the study of phonology will be intensified, and the human perception of sound will be explored, hope to participate in more exhibitions in the future.
