As the internet continues to develop, it has become a trend for internet users to communicate with others online. An increasing number of internet users are utilizing texts, images, and video clips to record and share details of their daily life on the web, producing new socializing patterns. This paper reviews previous literature and analyzes the creative form and representative element of illustrations in the form of animated GIFs. Additionally, the artist uses an anthropomorphic cat as a virtual character "MOZ", which is the main character of the artist’s diary.

“Diary of MOZ” series chooses computer illustration as its style, referring to performing skills of Laurene Boglio: coloring on vector graphics transformed by line arts. At the same time, the anthropomorphic way of performance from Claire Belton’s “Pusheen the cat” is consulted. As a result, “MOZ”, the anthropomorphic cat, is the main character that imitates what people do in their daily lives. This series is classified by four themes: Life, Festivals, Current Events, and Fiction. It was published on three social medias like Facebook, Behance, and Xuite between December 18th, 2013 and September 21th, 2014. Also, the exhibition has been held at Stock Twenty, Taichung during September 28th to October 1st.

Public suggestions was taken by the artist, such as simple motion design (scaling and rotation); replay feature of GIF; the high similarity of whole unity composed by stationary character and composition. These suggestions are all considered to help improving the theme of the works and the design of animation.
