The essence of art is the expression and desires of the creator's soul, so the subject
matter of creative works is not only fantasy, but also comes from the experience,
feeling, and reflection of life experience.
The author takes sentimentality as the research theme, and uses the combination of
flowers, scenery, poetry, and painting to convey the creative soul that moves the heart.
The beauty of form is the emotional essence I want to express in this thesis.
This creation is based on three series: 1. Floral series, 2. Fondness series, 3.
Prosperous series. The content of the thesis is described in five chapters. In the second
chapter, the author presents in-depth discussions and research findings on color,
symbolism of florid language, floral events, the influence of flowers on human life,
and the evolution and transformation of flower and bird paintings in past dynasties. It
also discusses the author's painting influences and style change, inherited from
Western painters such as O'Keeffe, Chagall, and Mucha, in the third chapter.
The fourth chapter is the interpretation of the author's works and ideas. The creation
of modern poetry is added to the picture, from the connection of words to the emotion
and form of the picture, hoping to perfectly present the author’s creative approaches
and the convey the author’s mindset.
The content of the last chapter is the author's conclusion, as well as a preview of
future plans and prospects.
