The Interface between Man and Nature—Creative Research of Kuan-Ling Huang is a compilation and research of artworks the author created from 2015 to 2022. The study mainly focused on ‘man-made’ and ‘natural’, discussing the material, space, form, approach, standpoint, and many other aspects of the works. The researcher compared artificially processed media and raw materials between the natural time and time defined by man, analyzing the works’ context, form, and technique. The researcher also studied the space of land art and material of Arte Povera to demonstrate issues and research related to works and art history and further explore the researcher’s artwork rank and position in art history. The researcher digs into the subconscious in the works and the more profound and valuable topics behind the artworks. With these findings, the researcher provides a foundation and core structure that is more systematic and contextual for future creations.
