André Previn was a highly accomplished conductor, jazz pianist, classical pianist,and composer. He started by arranging and composing Hollywood film scores for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Previn participated in the music for over 50 films during his entire career. He has won four Academy Awards and ten Grammy Awards.In addition,He has acted as the music director of the Houston Symphony Orchestra,the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and the Oslo Philharmonic, as well as the principal conductor of the London Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
Toni Morrison was a significant American writer noted for her observation of the living experience (particularly female) within the black community. In 1988, she received the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. Furthermore in 1993, she received the Nobel Prize for Literature in honor.
