Antonio Lucio Vivaldi (1678-1741), a Baroque composer, made profound progress in the skills of playing the violin, who even established the remarkable development in the concerto for instrumental and vocal music. The purpose of this study was to investigate the work, “Antonio Lucio Vivaldi - the Concerto for Oboe and Basso continuo in A minor, Rv 461”. The survey concluded: (a) The life story of the composer, (b) Composing background , (c) The origin and development of concerto, (d) composition analysis and musical interpretation , and (e) analysis and application of ornamentation
